The Walnut Hills Baptist Church Learning Center is a non-profit ministry of Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Williamsburg. The Learning Center operates to provide a quality Christian education for children aged three and four. A Christ-centered focus is the distinguishing characteristic of the Learning Center program and its staff members.
The tuition and registration fees for the Learning Center program cover staff salaries and special equipment and supply costs. Walnut Hills Baptist Church provides the building as an extension of the church's ministry to our community at no cost to the families enrolled in the program. The Learning Center is housed in the educational building of the church.
The Walnut Hills Baptist Church Learning Center began in March 1991. The church has selected a committee composed of the Minister of Education, a member of the Personnel Committee and a Member-at-Large from the the church body. The Learning Center Committee serves as a liaison between the church and Learning Center staff and as a support resource for addressing various needs of the Learning Center ministry.

The Learning Center operates under religious exemption from licensure and annually provides documentation of approved inspections of the facility including inspections by the city fire marshall, the city building inspector and officials from the Health Department as required by law.
Walnut Hills Baptist Church is an autonomous body of believers joined and knit together by the love of God, seeking to be a faithful church where the Spirit of God is evident, and committed to the continuance of the mission of Christ in this local area and throughout the world. The church is affiliated with the Baptist General Assocation of Virginia and the Peninsula Baptist Association.
