Walnut Hills Baptist Church Vision

God’s call to Walnut Hills is to “love and serve” the Williamsburg community as disciples of Christ. It fulfills our Lord’s command to “Love God and love our neighbor.” The framework of this vision is that God is calling us and gifting us to serve three primary people groups:

  1. The “least of these” in our community.
  2. The Guest in our Midst.
  3. Families of all shapes and sizes.

We will be visiting the area over Easter and I was wondering if you have a sunrise service and any details of your other programs/services.

Hi Lisa,

Usually there is an Easter sunrise service at Jamestown Island, if we get any details we’ll post a link to it but I did find this one post on TripAdvisor ()

In terms of the our Easter schedule we have a list of Lenten Opportunities online at . Our Easter Sunday schedule follows our normal Sunday schedule with Bible Study/Sunday School at 9:15 and worship at 10:30am. Due to the high number of visitors on Easter sunday we will offer offsite overflow parking and a shuttle service from Walsingham Academy (across Jamestown Road from the church)
