Facility Request Forms
Everyone wants to use our beautiful new space; it is in high demand. We don’t want to disappoint anyone by saying “no”, nor do we want to double book rooms. Can you just imagine coming for a wedding reception only to find out that the local gardening club is having a speaker on the far end of the Hospitality Center?
We also want to make sure that whoever uses our facility will take good care of it and leave it in good condition. Can you just imagine coming for a funeral dinner only to find out that the previous group left the room full of black balloons from a surprise 50th birthday party? We don’t want to imagine that either. So we have different applications with guidelines depending on the type of event. Hopefully this article will help you decide which form you might need when you are trying to reserve space at WHBC.
There is no deposit or fee required.
This form is needed by WHBC groups that meet in our facility on a regular basis (other than Sunday and Wednesday evening events). For example, a Bible Study or Discipleship class, a monthly committee meeting or special interest group-such as our Crafters. Permission is granted on a first come, first served basis. Please note: the use of the kitchen or media equipment is not automatic and requires both the approval of Church Council and availability of certified kitchen or WHBC certified media operator. Please allow enough time for your application to be submitted to the Church Council which meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.
2. Wedding Application and Guidelines.
$250 deposit required at time of Application.
Please review all guidelines. You will be contacted by one of our wedding coordinators-either Jean Haywood or Mary Harvell. They can answer any other questions you might have. Please note: an approved Wedding application does not imply use of the Hospitality Center for a Reception; an additional form must be filled out for that.
$100 deposit required at time of Application.
This form is generally needed by outside groups or members who wish to reserve the sanctuary, lower level meeting rooms or the Youth Room for a nonmember function-such as a baby shower, AA group meeting, or party.
A minimum of $100 deposit required at time of Application. An additional deposit or fee may be assigned by Church Council.
This is for use of the Hospitality Center for personal purposes, as in #3. Please submit your application no less than 60 days before your event. It will be submitted to Church Council for approval. Please note: the use of the kitchen or media equipment is not automatic and requires both the approval of Church Council and availability of certified kitchen or WHBC certified media operator.
Please use this form when you need to borrow equipment from the church (ex. tables/chairs).
