The Standing Rock team needs help in collecting new or gently-used children books for our mission trip to Standing Rock Indian Reservations. These books will be used during BookNet which is one-on-one reading time between a mission trip team member and a child at Standing Rock.
Our goal is to present each child with three books per day. We are estimating 80 children at our site in Bullhead, SD, so we need 3 books x 5 days x 80 children or approximately 1,200 books.
We need books for preschoolers and elementary-aged children. Please bring your new or gently used books to the church through July 23. Bring them by the church office or leave them in the wagon in the children’s building.
