Outreach – Sep 2010

As we begin a new church year, let us ask: Who is missing? Who has dropped through the cracks?

Why don’t we see them anymore? Have we reached out to a “drop-out” lately? Jesus was not satisfied until all the sheep were in the fold. Matt 18:12-14 tells us:

What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wonders away, will he not leave the ninety –nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

This was Jesus’ standard. He doesn’t give up on any of us. Can we be content doing less? We each must each ask, “Who is the special missing sheep that I can bring back into the fold?”

Hi!
Just a note to thank the church for their help with the Chinese Bible study that finished their Wed. summer studies. Many summer workers attended and were blessed. They are the people who are “lost in the cracks” described above. I try to help out with teaching English, babysitting, making cookies, etc. Thanks again for coming alongside this booming ministry.
