Homegrown College Student Exam Boxes
April always means a busy time for our students. Their academic year is winding down and exams loom.
You’ll be prompted to sign up for packaged items, homemade cookies, and/or packing the boxes, and writing notes. Packaged goods may be left in room B2 beginning April 2; homemade cookies may be left in B-2 between April 23 and 25 by 5:00 p.m.
We are asking each person who signs up for cookies to make three dozen and to put six per sandwich Ziploc bag. We hope you can join us on April 25 at 6:30 in room B2 to write notes of encouragement and to pack the boxes. Thank you for your support!
If you have any questions or would rather sign up by phone, please contact Amy Colley or Lynn Walls
BOWLING: Students and adopted parents are invited to come bowling on Saturday, April 7th at the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, Ten Pin Bowling Alley from 4:30 – 6:30. If you are going, please contact Terri Bolt, firstname.lastname@example.org by April 5th. Attendees are submitted to the bowling alley prior to the party for security purposes.
Senior Service • Sunday, April 22
One event you won’t want to miss is the Senior Service on Sunday, April 22nd. The students will participate in worship. This service is always energetic, musical, and engaging. After the service there will be a Luncheon in the Hospitality Center for students, adopted parents, visiting parents, and friends.
